Why 1% of our profits goes to the troops

Every year we give 1% of our profits to SupportOurTroops.org. Here is why we started, and why it matters to how we build gear.

Two soldiers carrying Garrison packs across desert rock

Wilson & Miller was started to make dependable gear for people who head out prepared. From the beginning, we knew the people who rely on gear the most are the women and men who serve. Giving back to them was never an extra. It is part of why we exist.

How it works

Each year, we donate 1% of our annual profits to SupportOurTroops.org. The organisation provides care goods and services to soldiers and their families, both at home and abroad. Every purchase from Wilson & Miller adds to that total, whether it is a Garrison 45L, a set of TacticalEye binoculars or a socket set for the garage.

We make gear for people who look after their own. Supporting the troops is how we look after ours.

Why a share of profit

We chose a share of profit rather than a one-off gesture because it ties our giving to how well we do. When the business grows, so does the donation. It keeps the commitment honest, and it means our customers are part of it every time they buy.

How it shapes what we make

Building gear for people who serve sets a high bar. Heavy fabrics, solid steel, sealed optics and proven designs are not marketing choices for us. They are the minimum we would want in the hands of someone who cannot afford for their kit to fail.

Thank you

To everyone who has bought from us: thank you. Your purchase is part of a care package, a family support service or a reminder to someone far from home that they have not been forgotten.
